Philosophy:

Each of us faces very personal life challenges at different times in our life. These powerful moments often mark transitions into a new journey of self-discovery and an enrichment of existence that can lead us to a fuller understanding of our self on this passage through life.
Six Senses Destination Spas offer endless opportunities to meet the challenges of life and explore the potential within. For individuals, couples, families and groups seeking a transformation towards total wellness, the essence of our approach is always characterized within the five realms of wellbeing. These themes are integrated into a holistic approach to wellness that we call Life Passages – wellness programs that inspire every guest to realize their fullest potential in the present moment.
Life Passages offer you time away from everyday life and create a break for reassessment, re-evaluation and regeneration, working toward therapy for your whole system. Each passage is an opportunity to heal the wounds from the past, go deeper into the meaning of our life, find renewed strength, open-up to intimacy and realize your fullest potential.
Retirement, birth, traumatic events, young adulthood, marriage, divorce, career change, relationship crisis – such personal junctures require us to discover the essential nature of ourselves and Life Passages are designed to offer integrated programs that guide you towards a sustainable process of self-realization and purposeful change. |

Cuisine
Yes.
Food and healthy dining form an integral part of Six Sense wellness concept. Dietary requirements of all guests are taken into consideration and sometimes adjusted as the outcome of a holistic consultation upon arrival with the wellness team.
The landscaping at the Six Senses Destination Spa is largely edible which allows for the highest standards in chemically free and sound ecological cultivation. Being on an island, growing as much as possible on the premises enables Six Senses to reduce carbon emissions by decreasing the daily number of boat rides needed to supply the chefs with the finest and freshest produce. The dishes are prepared in their own juices in order to preserve their natural flavour. Guests have a choice between Fishetarian, Spa and Raw Foods Cuisine.
Guests are able to accompany their dinner with a glass from the wine list. All wines are organically or even bio-dynamically produced and have been selected to represent the best in organic wines from the four corners of the planet. However, it is recommended guests drink in moderation.
The chefs also feel strongly that guests should be able to take something home with them, from their time at Six Senses Destination Spa Phuket. So, cooking classes are on offer in the ‘Cuisine Cave’ preparing guests to take wellness inspired gastronomy to their own dining table, back home.
In addition the weekly event calendar includes pizza baking, island barbecues and special dishes prepared in the tandoori oven, making sure dining experiences at the Six Senses Destination Spa are most memorable.
Each Thursday evening guests are invited for weekly ‘get acquainted’ cocktail and every Saturday evening the beach seafood barbeque. |

| Dining
A novel and internationally inspired Spa Cuisine is offered in which use of as many ingredients from the ecologically grown gardens. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in our al fresco Ton Sai restaurant where guests can enjoy succulent fishetarian dishes with only the best the sea has to offer.
For a Raw Foods dining experience the ‘Dining at the Point’ restaurant is the place, located at the tip of the island with a breathtaking view on Phang Nga Bay. Raw Foods preparation, also known as ‘Living Cuisine’ avoids the use of animal products. It is high in nutrients and minerals as a maximum cooking temperature of 42 degrees Centigrade (116 degrees Fahrenheit) is strictly observed. This raw food cooking method allows enzymes and vitamins to be preserved which cannot be achieved at higher emperatures. Raw Foods preparations contain a higher nutritional content, resulting in higher energy levels. |
